The College of Arts & Commerce invites applications for the position of In-Charge Principal. The ideal candidate will be an academic leader committed to educational excellence, institutional growth, and academic governance. The Principal will oversee all academic, administrative, and strategic functions of the college, ensuring compliance with UGC and University of Mumbai norms.

Minimum Qualifications & Eligibility (As per UGC & Mumbai University norms):

• Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com) with minimum B+ Grade or equivalent.

• Must fulfill eligibility criteria as per University Grants Commission (UGC) and University of Mumbai norms for college principal appointments.

• A minimum of 15 years of teaching experience in a recognized college or university is desirable.

• Proven administrative experience will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic leadership and uphold academic standards across all departments.

• Ensure implementation of University of Mumbai, UGC, and NAAC guidelines.

• Supervise teaching, learning, examination, and evaluation processes.

• Facilitate student welfare, staff development, and faculty mentoring.

• Promote research, innovation, and institutional collaborations.

• Prepare and manage budgets, infrastructure, and development plans.

• Ensure timely statutory compliance and liaison with regulatory bodies.

• Represent the college in academic, professional, and community forums.
